What feels slightly fresh is its larger scale. It blends different timelines—the past (set in different periods), the present, and the future—with a time-travel connection that adds an interesting layer to the narrative. The first half feels uneven, with only a few genuinely fun moments. While the usual one-liners and character foolishness are present, much of the humour doesn’t land, making it feel hit-or-miss overall. Earlier films had natural humour from the characters’ personalities, but here the same characters feel artificially written just to act foolish, making the performances seem forced. The second half, especially the sequences leading to the final chaos between the groups, feels a bit silly and doesn’t match well with the fantasy elements introduced earlier. The writing towards the very end of the climax is handled well. The film creates curiosity for the next part and leaves the audience interested in what comes next.
