A comedy film should be simple, straightforward, and easy to follow.
If they had kept it that way, it would have worked better.
But in this film, they mixed past, present, period settings, time travel, and everything together and completely messed up the screenplay. And the story, don't know where it's going. They have messed it up.
All the characters felt very artificial. Their acting was not enjoyable at all.
This is supposed to be a comedy film, but they removed almost all the comedy. Laughter comes only in one or two places. In the rest of the film, there is nothing funny.
The runtime is 2 hours 40 minutes. Such a long duration was completely unnecessary for this story.
Overall, they took a simple idea, mixed it with past-present-time travel elements, and turned it into a mess. It just gives a headache. A simply waste. A worthless film.
