"A Fresh Scientific Angle on an Outdated Serial Killer Story" This movie is a
crime thriller about a series of murders, where the police are trying to catch a serial killer. What makes it slightly different is the twist in the climax. The suspense is connected to the mind of a psychopath and a scientific theory behind his motive. The screenplay moves in a slow and clichéd manner. Many scenes feel stretched without adding much tension. By the time the movie reaches the climax, the big reveal does not create the “wow” feeling it should have. The police officer, played by Rahman, is the most clichéd character in the film. He is shown as a cop with a painful past, something we’ve seen many times before. The forced heroic moments, including the bike chase and slow-motion scenes, feel unnecessary and do not add much to the story. Bhavana plays the sister of a victim and delivers a sincere performance. However, her character is filled with repetitive emotional scenes and repeated flashbacks with her brother. Another weakness is the supporting cast. Many of the actors playing police officers, doctors, and other roles seem inexperienced, and their performances reduce the seriousness of the investigation scenes. Overall, even with a scientific angle behind the psychopath’s motive, the film feels like an outdated serial killer vs. cop story. The idea had potential, but the execution is stretched and familiar. Movie Reviewer Survival Note: "If you disagree, fine. Just don’t make me rewatch it.”
