through the Australian forest who becomes the target of a deadly serial killer. Instead of a city, the hunt takes place in the middle of the forest. It creates curiosity around the disappearances in the area, but once the main idea is established, the film doesn't do much to build on it. The cat-and-mouse game between the female lead and the killer keeps the movie moving at a decent pace. The survival sequences are engaging and have an adventurous touch, especially when the story focuses on her struggle to escape and survive in the harsh environment. However, the movie never makes the serial killer as frightening or layered as he could have been. Beyond revealing that he hunts people, the film offers little insight into his past, and the mystery surrounding the missing people remains mostly unexplored. Overall, a time-wasting cat-and-mouse survival thriller that never develops beyond its basic premise.
