Athi Bheekara Kaamukan is an incredibly cringy and outdated romantic movie.
Many scenes drag on unnecessarily, and the plot is full of illogical thoughts. The writing is a total failure, especially when it comes to how poorly the characters are developed. There are a few positives, though. The visuals are great, Lukman gives a solid performance, and the mother-son dynamic is genuinely good.
Overall, it’s a very boring and cringeworthy film, saved only slightly by the cinematography and the nice combination of Lukman and his on-screen mother.
