he creates his universes , it’s people , the animals and gods. Though it may not be a straight forward sports drama like Sarpatta , here it’s a lot more complicated narration as a young man wants to escape the violence between communities in his village and he has all his heart for kabaddi but his father wants him to stay away from the sport as it may lead to the path of violence considering the hot heads in the village . The bus sequence is a perfect example. The film has great music by Nivas K Prasanna with rousing scores and a background score gelling well with the drama . The Ameer - Lal conflict is also important to the story and they get sequences to shine though I felt it could have had a lil more depth especially their goodness since it forms an important core for the story . I’m happy that Madan who has played characters where you want to cash his face gets to play a lovely character here as the teacher who supports the boy’s dream . Dhruv has very less lines but shows he has it in him to play complexly written characters but Pasupathy as the father gives the best performance of the film and I don’t know why Tamil cinema doesn’t use him more effectively . Though the movie has a lot of violence and I don’t understand how tf are kids allowed to watch such movies .Mari Selvaraj is a winner and be creates a major win here .
