memories flow together. As you grow up some emotions & memories just leaves a greater impression on you that you will always deal with it even in your adulthood. One such emotion is losing a loved one, grief and traumatic memories. This film addresses these things through a little girl sasha as her family migrates to Vancouver, but the struggles start when her elder brother projects disturbing behaviours, depressed and lost, sasha gazes from slight distance at her parents and siblings trying to make sense of everything happening. These things create questions which we encountered in childhood that, left unanswered, harden into memory and when you finally realise these things, you feel so helpless and hopeless remembering who you lost and couldn't do anything about it. It's one of the first feelings one could encounter. Film with its warm, delicate and subtle manner explores stretching dynamics of this family, which starts to drift in crisis day after day slowly. But we see all this through little sasha who cannot fully grasp the situation. But as an adult she dives into these memories through photos, letters and videos and wonders what if things were different? These little pieces of memory bring Sasha back to her childhood but with perspective and ideas she lacked before and tries to finally let go of her grief and trauma.
