MAN OF CINEMA
A real raw, gritty, brutal japanese indie movie which captures the ugliness ,
angst and fragility of youth who lack proper guidance in their lives, lack purpose and love, and they fill that void with violence and rage.
I liked the dark humor in the film adds a layer of complexity to the film. It’s a way for the characters to cope with the bleakness of their reality. The film is filled with a sense of rage that the characters don't quite know how to express. They are caught in a cycle of apathy, unable to break free from their feelings of isolation.
It's one of those few films which shows the bleakness and frustrations of growing up so uniquely.
