Bugonia

I haven’t seen the original. Movie feels very unique in the way it is directed. Even though the story has some sci-fi elements, the screenplay is written in a dark-comedy style. From the beginning, the movie uses black humour to tell the story. Most of the scenes feel funny, mainly because Jesse Plemons and Aidan Delbis characters. Their serious acting actually makes the situations even more hilarious. The dark comedy stays strong throughout the film, right up to the ending. The background score is also interesting. The movie uses an atmospheric type of music, which gives the scenes a different and unique mood. The climax gave me mixed feelings. Overall, I enjoyed the movie for its uniqueness, its satirical style of storytelling, and the bold mix of sci-fi and dark comedy. Movie Reviewer Survival Note: Didn't like the movie?
