offer much of a surprise in terms of storytelling, especially since most audiences are already familiar with the concept. The story unfolds around a wedding, with the events and characters connected to the wedding of Sajin Gopu’s character, Kuttan. And yes, Kuttan is the one who gets trapped in the time loop. Till the interval, the events that happen after Kuttan gets trapped in the loop don’t offer much surprise for anyone familiar with the usual patterns of time-loop stories. So, the first half gives you a constant feeling that you already know how things are going to happen. What makes it a little different is the rural setting and the less-stylised approach to storytelling. The story revolves around a middle-class wedding, with normal and relatable characters, and keeps everything grounded in an everyday village environment, which gives the movie a different feel. After the interval, the pacing becomes a bit faster because the movie has only one main thing left to explore — Kuttan has to find out why he is trapped in the time loop and how he can escape from it. But the reason behind the time loop doesn’t really come with any wow factor. Everything is explained in a fairly straightforward way without trying to make it overly complicated. Still, the movie manages to end on an okay note. It doesn’t add too many confusing twists or complicated events, making it easy for a normal audience to follow and understand. Overall, the movie is clearly designed as a family-friendly entertainer that can be enjoyed in a light-hearted way, mainly because of its small-village setting.
