In the first part many did not understand the propaganda behind the film, so the director dhar this time overdone it and solely focused on boot licking modi and forgot to tell a story that many wanted. Two major plots that many were awaiting was, Jaskirat's background story and the expansion of lyari gangwar. Both were wrapped in just 30 minutes without any substance or effectiveness. Jaskirat's backstory is so stupid that you will laugh at it, instead of feeling sorry for the state of the character. You show him as the army guy under training, then you push the character to absolute madness that he loses his control of his emotions, does not think about justice or law, just goes on killing spree like a mad dog to take revenge. Is this what you want army people to be? How can army personnel be so vulnerable and psycho and distrust the justice system? Then you take that psycho, manipulate him and make him a spy to save the world. Did the makers ever read about spies? As i said in my review of the first part. The biggest attribute of a spy is to remain stealth, do not get noticed and never make enemies. But here they made him king of lyari 😭. Its such a huge blunder for me. They did not even do justice to the saga of lyari gang war on which the first part completely relied on. They just wrapped it in one single shootout montage. Now lets come to the actual intention and purpose of the film. Someone in their review compared Dhar to Leni Riefenstahl, i think that's thatst the most accurate comparison one can make. There have been multiple such directors who came and gone, but they did not really do such an impact and enticed the audience of all categories to consume the bullshit. But Dhar after his URI brought stylised propaganda to portray the current regime as the best one india even seen, and all other governments were failures. It goes on justifying the Demonetization monetization which was proven failure and did not help solve the issues of black money and terrorism at all in reality. This is what Riefenstahl did for hitler too, she made movies to justify the actions of nazi regime and push their ideology to a larger audience to brainwash them. Dhar is successfully doing the same. There is also another intention of the film which brazenly comes out multiple times in the film. Like these dialogues "Honsla eendhan badla" , " balidan sabse bada dharm hai" , " hindu darpok kaum hai" . What the fuck is hindu bc? Say Hindustan, and hindustan is not a coward nation, but the leaders who run the country are cowards, greedy and fuels(eendhan) hatred and encourage(honsla) to take revenge(badla), this what they been doing for the last decade. Pushing hindu muslim narrative and hiding behind it and distracting us from the main issues in the country, which has pushed us into dumps. And people who are cheering this film and hooting, let me tell you, you are their lab rat, who has been brainwashed and left to suffer. The day you realise, that you are being oppressed, silenced and distracted that is when the real revenge starts to kick out these people from the power and instill the idea of secularism and peace back in this country. This is not a film for me, this is a blatant attempt to push the rotten ideology, justify the big fuckups, spread a narrative to influence voters right when the elections are about to happen in multiple elections. Understand the nuances, use your brain and question things, rather than blindly consuming things. You are being fooled big time!
