Hallow Road is a mystery thriller, which starts off as two parents helping her daughter over the phone as they go to the crime scene where in the middle of a dark road, Alice killed someone in a car accident. But as the story moves, many more layers unfold and something weird starts to happen. And all this happens over conversation on the phone. We don't see anything but the parents talking to their daughter in the car as they go.
Its extremely stressful, tense, twisty, gripping, claustrophobic and unique, the last 10-15mins or so had me at the edge of my seat. It leaves you with so much ambiguity that you will be left looking for answers in deep dark lying unknown mysteries. Its brilliant hybrid of family drama and psychological thriller.
Rosamund Pike was absolutely brilliant in this, loved her performance throughout the movie.
