A Midas Vignesh Raja film!
Great artwork and strong set pieces throughout.
D, as usual, is impeccable and flawless. The tension-building — especially the stretch inspired by the Vadachennai marriage sequence — works really well and feels on par in terms of atmosphere and staging.
There are some interesting visual details too: K. S. Ravikumar’s toes touching during his final rituals, and the parallel between the two protagonists carving their own paths — mirrored through the police jeep and the farmer’s jeep driving sequences — neatly paving the way for the film’s closure.
The film definitely has potential, but somewhere along the line, that impact feels slightly diluted. Still, Mamitha was used well, and she fit naturally into the village-role setup with a neat, grounded performance.

Kara was definitely a good watch for me.
Super first half followed by a decent second half. The buildup of the first half felt misfired in the second half.

Sluggish heist scenes & Closure diluted the craft's
output.
