MAN OF CINEMA
Indian immigrant filming the wolf street of warsaw and his life and struggles
in poland, but the documentary becomes more reflective and poignant portrait of current poland society and increasing hatred against the immigrants in europe.
It showcases the point of view polish people, why are they more reluctant and not opened up to the idea of immigrants coming to poland. The view mostly comes out of the nature of fear and protective rather than hatred. It shows how their psyche has affected because of constant wars and genocide sorrounded them over the years.
It's a film that is narrated from personal experience but the idea and thoughts start to feel more universal as the whole world succumb to fear of fascism, war and oppression. Rather than embracing each other, sharing cultures, language and food.
