When you name the film Micheal, i expect you are stripping the man from the
name "Jackson" and exploring his life with a more intimate lens, with nuances, his psyche and his thought process of writing these epic evergreen songs.
The only part i really liked in the film was the exploration of his toxic relationship with his father, that really put an effect on his growth. But apart from that movie dont show me anything new which i haven't known about him before. There was a small sequence which explored his loneliness and lack of friends around him which leads to him being more close and spending time with the chimp, but the movie really doesn't dwell into that. Instead most of the movie felt like nostalgia drug for the fans performances after performances like a reel, i am not saying i did not enjoy that, especially that final performance, that was really good. But i expected much more from the film. Wanted to see Michael the man, not Micheal the musician.
