I've always admired Karthik Naren's work.
except dhanosh one (which is circling around conspiracies). In fact, Mafia: Chapter 1 is my favorite of Karthik Naren's works, even over Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (D16). I know people had their issues with it, but I genuinely enjoyed it and am still eagerly waiting for Chapter 2.
Switching to Nirangal Moondru, it’s an interesting film that worked for me, though it felt a bit underdeveloped. None of the characters had much depth until the typical climax reveal, which ultimately saved the narrative. It’s almost like an extended version of one of his short films.
The screenplay maintained a decent pace, but it started to lose its sharpness and became a bit circular during the pre-climax. Some elements stood out as offbeat, while others leaned into clichés. Still, it’s a solid watch overall.
There seems to be a bit of Personal jealousy and criticism directed towards Karthik Naren. It’s probably because he carved a niche for himself at such a young age, which isn’t an easy feat in the industry. talent always draws both admiration and envy- it’s just part of the game.

3 Father's dark & good side on paper the hyperlink may connect but liveliness
is missing connect, Sarath Kumar, Rahman 👍🏻👍🏻 playing their part as per writing, the climax twist
Shridhar Manivannan
the idea is apt for a short film format but it doesn't work largely as a
feature film.
