Parasakthi is a powerful, emotionally charged film that hits exactly where it’s
meant to — the message. Directed by Sudha Kongara, it stays honest to its purpose while still delivering gripping cinema.
Sivakarthikeyan is phenomenal, delivering one of the most intense performances of his career. This isn’t just acting — it’s rage, pain, rebellion, and conviction. Raw, fearless, and deeply convincing, he proves he can carry strong, socially rooted cinema with authority.
Sreeleela adds emotional balance with a sincere performance, while Jayaram and Atharvaa make strong impressions, elevating the narrative with their presence and performances.
The writing and dialogues are sharp and impactful, with several moments that stay with you — especially because they’re spoken in our own language, with pride and authenticity. The film speaks boldly, without softening its voice.
Visually, the film shines thanks to Ravi K. Chandran’s striking cinematography. The art direction (The period backdrop) and costume design deserve special mention — authentic, detailed, and perfectly in sync with the film’s tone, adding depth and realism to every frame.
Overall, Parasakthi works. It’s bold, relevant, and emotionally satisfying. Huge respect to the entire team for making a film that makes us feel heard, represented, and proud.
Grateful this film exists. Proud of this cinema.
