Perfect days, directed by Wim Wenders is a heartfelt story of a man who cleans toilet in Tokyo, as a profession and spends rest of his time doing things which makes him feel peaceful. Today in a world where hustle‐culture is glorified and resting is seen as being defeated, Perfect days tells us to take a break, relax and reflect on the life we have. Everyone is chasing something; like that shadow-tag sequence, not that it's bad but to get something we don't have we lose things we have. This is really a beautiful film making us to reflect on our lives and to find beauty in the most mundane things of our daily routine.
Koji Yakusho is a really fine actor. His portrayal of Hirayama made me deeply connected to his character. Beautiful cinema!

Perfect days is beyond just a meditative soothing movie, but an enchanting
character study. It’s not with every film when a movie becomes an experience and really sticks with you.

Perfect Days perfectly depicts the beauty in the mundane.
The storytelling is such that you live through it as much as the protagonist does. A must watch for sure.
