Isaac Zachariah
I really liked this film.
It explores complex family conflicts that still feel deeply relevant in many Tamil households today. It honestly portrays the push and pull between generations: love, pride, ego, conflict and the small sacrifices that hold a family together.
Beyond the story, the movie offers a beautiful walk-through of Tamil family culture from the previous generation: the values and tensions that shaped so much of who we are. It was both nostalgic and revealing. If there’s one flaw, the ending leaned a little too much into melodrama; that part could’ve been written a touch more subtly.

G T Baranidaran
A film about family feuds, and how they tackle every problem.
It's well written and was considered progressive over that period of time.
A must watch film.
Suhasini Srihari
A family drama with a really good script.
The comedy stands on its own and so does the drama. The movie is a cult classic today.
