This film tries to explore the silent friends ( The trees/plants) we have around us, the film through 3 different timelines and stories tried to understand our relationship with plants, we see three characters each creative their own various experiments and scientific research around plants to better understand their place in the world, how they react to different things and what changes they project which we often miss in our real time. It's a fascinating and experimental film which you will love if you have an interest in understanding plants which are so familiar to us yet very strange to our minds. Far from approaching its subject through a psychological or analytical lens, the film Silent prioritizes sensation. Through its cinematography and sound design it makes you feel the connection with plants in a unique way. It makes you forget the outward noise. It makes you understand the friend you forgot and become the part of the plant kingdom.
