Sing Geetham

a Telugu Musical, Comedy, Drama film. The story takes place in a village where gold mining is happening, but despite all the efforts, no gold is being found. We follow Pratap, who has just been released from prison and owns a piece of land in this village. That's all you need to know. This is one of the best films I've seen this year. This is not a regular movie, and films belonging to this kind of genre are rarely made. I honestly don't know how a film like this will be accepted by the Indian audience, but I love watching movies, and when I come across something this different and unique, what more can I ask for? This is what experimental filmmaking looks like. The film tells its story in layers through symbolism, satire, and curiosity. It beautifully depicts human nature and emotions without making everything obvious to the audience. There is always something beneath what we see on the surface, which makes the experience even more interesting. The film explores themes like greed, nature conservation, belief, compassion, humanity, community, and faith. Sing Geetham presents human nature and the existence of humanity in a very interesting way. Humans, driven by greed, have destroyed so many things, continue to destroy them, and perhaps will keep doing so. But one day, we will have to answer for everything we have done, whether it is to the coming generations or to God. I genuinely enjoyed the film. It is different, experimental, layered, and most importantly, it was fun to watch. Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, even at 94, is still creating magic.
