"A Ghost Fantasy Feel-Good Film That Doesn’t Feel Sukham Enough"
In fantasy
films, we usually don’t question the logic too much—especially when the story is about someone who can see and talk to ghosts. This movie also follows that path. The makers present it as a feel-good film that mainly talks about loneliness.
After introducing the main character and his lonely nature, the fantasy element begins. From that point, the writing feels inconsistent. The screenplay does not explore the idea in a convincing way. Many scenes feel disconnected, and the overall flow of the story becomes uneven.
The film adds humour to keep the tone light and pleasant. However, most of the comedy scenes rely on weak, lame jokes that feel forced. In contrast, the emotional moments connected to Jagadish’s character and the hero’s childhood carry some depth.
Devika Sanjaya’s episode feels bored. Her portions do not add much strength to the story and end up slowing down the narrative. Some scenes also lack sharpness and feel artificial, almost like the actors suddenly switched into performance mode after the director said “action.”
Overall, despite having a short runtime, the movie turns out to be a dull experience.
