Thalaivan Thalaivi, by Pandiraj
I don't know why it receives so much hate on
the internet.
A dysfunctional rugged couple, who married each other with love, but they have their own way to showcase that love to each other, that is by fights. VJS a parrota master and Nithya Menon his wife marry each other with love through their shared love towards food. But after the marriage is when all the problems start, ego clashes between the couple, family chaos, pile of lies, fights, divorce, get back together, fight again, break away, patch back together..... It's all a fun roller coaster ride for sure.
First half of the movie is on the lighter, heartwarming tone. While second half is where the confusing fun begins. Honestly through the ending mins I had a laugh riot.
Technically too the movie is sound. Music by SaNa is catchy, Story and Screenplay by Pandiraj is very good for the attempt it makes. There is a single shot fight sequence in the second half of the movie which deserves praising (it's not completely single shot Obv, there are stiches).
Overall, it's a fun Sunday afternoon watch with family.

Thalaivan Thalaivii feels like a miss.

Pandiraj’s attempt to fuse family drama with satire falls short, resulting in a

Cringe scenes altogether, there are some scene that really sticks with us.
Average after all..
Sidcinnati .
Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya had great chemistry in this film.
She seems to fit into whatever role she plays, I don't know how. Underrated actor, she.
Barring that, I am not sure
