MAN OF CINEMA
The Bride is rough ,bold, wild and bloody dull with its storyline.
Director Maggie had a good premise with popular characters to play with. It starts pretty and ends pretty well, but the cluster fuck that happens inbetween is what makes this movie unbalanced, chaotic and directionless. the film’s experimental attempt to blend Mary Shelley’s identity/consciousness into the Bride’s mind results in a narrative that's often more jumbled than effective. It doesn't make any sense in the film. But Jessie Buckley is absolute force, she overshadowed frankenstein both as a character and the actor. It is truly her film, her search for identity, meaning and the love which she didn't know she wanted. Film fails provide the emotional gravity to loneliness and social anxiety in Frankenstein's character in an effective way. It was just used as a trait to push the movie not as a narrative. But still i feel his portrayal of Frankenstein is one of the closest and relevant portrayals you will ever see. Also i felt that the film tried to be too many genres at one single time, horror, crime, noir, psychological thriller. Along the way you will also get the vibes of Bonnie and Clyde. Also at some time she starts to feel like Harley Quinn rather than the bride. The film should have been about longing for connection, take on dysfunctional relationships and how you can create someone to just love you, but what happens is not in your hands. Your actions cannot change your destiny. But the film does the complete opposite.

This is chaotic, stylish and messy.
Sure not everything adds up but if you want to be entertained and like everything turned up to 11 Baz Luhrmann style this will probably be for
Popcorn Reviewss
#TheBride boasts of daring wild slogs of incoherence wrapped in a beautiful
mess of a drama that ends up being a hit-and-miss watch. It is watchable, but I can't help but think
