MAN OF CINEMA
It's a delicate coming-of-age story that deals with very matured themes of
life, grief and death with such sweet innocence, it observes these themes with imagination from a child's perspective and their friendship. The film relies on its silent moments, gestures, and atmosphere to reveal profound emotions. It's a poetic and subtly devastating film.
I really liked the friendship between two little girls that emerges amidst a complex situation that brings together these very different yet complementary personalities, leading to the union of two families led by single mothers trying to do the best for their daughters. All along dealing with aspects of life and death in a very surreal way. Their curiosity about death and the pain that comes along with it ,was really interesting to see.
