If you went in blind and didn't know this film is based on Anthony Bourdain's
life, then you will feel it was a very predictable and formulaic coming of age film which you have seen over the years.
Young brat living life carefree, spitting lies to have his way, life changing experience over few days and redemption just like that after one incident. I don't know shit abt Bourdain's early life and yet you can predict every single scene that's going to happen in this movie.
As Bourdain's life, i was expecting much more depth, story and emotions, but for me it all felt very flat and outdated to be honest. I really had high hopes.
