"Stunning Visuals, Weak Script"
This third movie, the creators try to expand
the Tron universe in a way that fits today’s technology-driven era. The film introduces a bigger world-building idea and brings in an artificial intelligence subplot. Visually, the movie is stunning. VFX & BGM create an immersive digital world that looks impressive on the big screen.
However, the movie struggles when it comes to writing. The story feels weak and lacks emotional depth. Several new characters are introduced, but their emotional journeys do not feel natural or meaningful. Their motivations are not clearly explained, which makes it hard to connect with them. As the movie goes on, the storytelling becomes more shallow instead of building toward something powerful or memorable.
Overall, Worth watching for the visuals. But the story feels weak and wasted. But in terms of story and writing, it feels like a lazy and pointless attempt.
