Tu Yaa Main

Even though it's a remake of the Thai movie "The Pool" he manages to keep the movie fresh, topical and relevant. The romance plot between two leads did not really move me much, i felt lots of time was wasted on that. The final 30mins have the real popcorn worthy moments. I felt the movie should have focused more on the survival thriller than the romance plot. That long length of 2hr 20mins also felt unnecessary, should have been more tight and thrilling. But also with that heavy plot in the beginning Bijoy wanted to show the two different classes coming together and no matter who you are, you are always vulnerable in front of the force of nature. I loved the ambience & Cinematography of the film, from the beginning it sets the tone with the water theme. I wish he could have adapted it even better and added more originality in it, but still i would prefer watching these films over brainless bullshit action, hyper nationalistic films.
