"When Magic Feels Rushed"
The movie starts exactly from where Part 1 ends.
The narration and story flow feel very similar to the first part, which makes it easy to follow and not boring. The musical scenes and dialogues are placed nicely and do not disturb the flow of the story.
This time, the world of the Land of Oz is shown in a much bigger and more visual way. The production design and costume design are beautiful.
However, as the final part of the duology, the movie struggles to properly end its story. The second half has some slow and dragging moments, and then suddenly the movie starts rushing towards the climax. Because of this, the emotional impact of the big twist does not work very strongly.
Overall, this movie is neither better nor worse than Part 1. It feels like an average musical fantasy film.
