All the style and no substance.
That's the world of John Wick and this film perfectly fits into that world.
The only component of the film, The action sequences, is the selling point of the film, is something to marvel at. Ana De Armas brings all the right elements required for the film.
It does lack the world building aspect like some john wick movies had. But then this is one spinoff to milk on franchise fame, so they were never going to focus on that.
Maybe i like this one more than other john wick movies because of the female character lead in high octane action flick which you don't see often. And according to reports ana de armas did 90% of the stunts in ‘ballerina’ herself. Full marks for her, for giving full commitment to the character, even though the story around her is badly written.
