MAN OF CINEMA
When the fear of letting go and overwhelming grief takes shape into the horror
of obsession to have them back in their lives at any cost.
Bring Her Back unapologetically proves that point by showcasing gut wrenching, disturbing tragic horror drama which will creep the hell out of you.
Some of the imagery and shots are so upsetting, gruesome and shocking to say the least. Especially the last 30 minutes film really peaks. Sally Hawkins gave one of the best performances of the year. Her emotional vulnerability really comes across and connects with you.
Bring her back feels so real and shocks you because it is very possible in the real world. We all deal with loss differently and some will never overcome it and they can go to any extent and try anything to just feel their presence. Film is more psychological horror set in reality than horror in fantasy.
