Eleven goes for that gritty crime thriller vibe and mostly pulls it off, thanks
to its layered mystery and a few solid twists. The first half drags a bit with all the setup and cop routines—it feels pretty by-the-book. But the second half picks up speed, especially with a flashback that adds some real emotional depth and backstory involving childhood trauma. That said, the script sometimes over-explains things, and a couple of twists feel more flashy than convincing. The climax tries to go big but veers into melodrama and feels a bit far-fetched. Still, it keeps you curious, and while it’s not a game-changer, it’s a decent thriller with a few moments that stand out.
