Movie Lover
This movie takes a swing at mixing real history with emotional storytelling,
and for the most part, it pulls it off. The first half does a solid job setting the tone and building up the tension. The visuals are sharp and intentional, really bringing out the contrast between the harshness of colonial rule and the quiet strength of the people.
The performances feel genuine—props to Akshay, Madhavan, Simon Paisley Day, and Krish Rao for carrying some weight. What’s nice is that the film doesn’t go overboard with the drama, so when the emotional moments hit, they feel natural. That said, a few parts—like the bar song—feel a bit too dramatic and take away from the seriousness of what actually happened.
Still, it lands where it counts. The final act really hits home, paying tribute to those who never got justice. It’s not flawless, but it’s a heartfelt sequel that manages to be both reflective and powerful.

For me, Akshay Kumar is back with this one.
I don't know if the film must be named so and tagged as the spiritual successor of Kesari 2019. It could easily be a standalone film.
