innocence, humour and heartwarming moments like Ozu. Because Ozu's stories feel so relevant for us, us from 90s kids, i remember going to my friend's home to play games on his computer and how i create drama and nuisance in my home in front of parents to buy one for me too. Otherwise i will not talk to them or not eat anything. Ozu captures that child's agony and desire, and parents'dilemma and worry is such a beautiful way. Ozu finds comedy of manners in it, what we say, how we say it, and what it all means. How children feel adults talk about boring stuff and while they amuse themselves with silly games and communication which might look foolish to adults. Ozu uses a tight knitted community and the neighbors as grist for his story. The gossip of the neighbors , the unemployment and constant rise of inflation and the usual morning routine of kids going to school. All this was brilliant showcased to highlight the daily life and conversations of different generations and their perspective. Good Morning is so enjoyable and light-hearted feel good comedy which can easily make you feel nostalgic and will bring smile on your face.
