One of the most fun and entertaining movies of the year! The 6.4
/10 on IMDb is just haters doing their thing, this is at least a 7/7.5, if not more. If you liked Madha Gaja Raja, you're gonna love this one, and this IMO is the Pongal/Sankranthi winner.
Venkatesh has still got it. Aishwarya and Meenakshi were great with the roles they were given. The entire cast gets decent screentime to shine, I didn't expect a Marathi actor and a Kannada actor in a Telugu movie to be hilarious, even if you were watching the film in Tamil/Hindi. Bruh goes "Baaaaal" and you instantly what this is a callback to.
There is nothing new in the film but the tone and the dialogue delivery make it hilarious. My only gripe - the use of loudmouthed child characters for cheap laughter. The son in this film was SO annoying, much like the kid from....Imaika Nodigal..? Not sure why disrespect is mistaken for humor but OK.
Regardless, the film knows what it is and doubles down on the ridiculousness and does it really well overall. If you're looking for a fun family watch, look no further.
